I lap in clear water
Im used to the red.
A life jacket
Something to save my dying soul
From drowning in my own blood.
Just a chunk of the earths water
Shoved into a little hole
For people like us to use and enjoy.
Its magical being swifted through such
Not the molasses of doom i drown in.
The sun shines its rays directly on
The surface and as i come up for air
I open my eyes and
I can see the world.
